Genocidal war on Gaza
A vessel belonging to the Gaza Freedom Flotilla has been under an Israeli drone strike off the coast of Malta while it was attempting to bring humanitarian aid to the besieged Palestinian territory. The Freedom Flotilla Coalition said thirty people were on board the vessel when the attack occurred, adding that the targeted ship sent an SOS distress signal. The drone strike took place as the Coalition is campaigning to end the Tel Aviv regime’s siege of Gaza. The blockade and the worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza are coupled with relentless bombardment of the besieged territory. In the latest of such bombings, two Palestinians were killed in northwest of Gaza City. A separate strike in al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza took the lives of eight people. The genocidal war on Gaza has killed over 52,400 Palestinians since October 2023.
Yemen anti-Israel operations
The Yemeni armed forces have launched a fresh missile attack on the Israeli-occupied territories, in response to the Israeli regime’s atrocities in Gaza. The spokesperson said the missile successfully reached its target, adding that Israeli interception systems failed to confront it. The attack set off sirens across the port city of Haifa and parts of the northern occupied territories. Reports say residents in Haifa and several other regions fled to shelters. According to Israeli media, flights also halted at Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport following the missile strike. The Yemeni armed forces vow that their anti-Israel military operations will continue until the aggression against Gaza stops and the siege on the strip is lifted.
Solidarity with Gaza
Thousands of Yemeni people have held a new rally in Sa’ada to show their solidarity with Palestinians. The protesters carried Yemeni and Palestinian flags, chanting slogans in condemnation of Israeli crimes in Gaza and deadly US aggression against Yemen. They expressed support for the Yemeni armed forces as well. Yemenis have been holding pro-Palestine rallies almost every Friday since the beginning of the genocidal war on Gaza in October 2023.
