600 days of genocide
As the US-Israeli genocide in the besieged Gaza enters its 600th day, the regime’s relentless war machine continues its brutal assault on Palestinians, leaving a trail of devastation and unimaginable loss. Gaza’s medical sources report that since October 2023, Israel has killed nearly 17,000 children and over 20,000 young men. The overall number of Palestinians killed in Gaza has now surpassed 54,000, with women and children accounting for the majority of the victims. In the latest Israeli strikes, 43 more Palestinians were killed across Gaza since early Wednesday. Among the victims was a child killed by an Israeli drone strike in Gaza City.
Gaza tribunal
A people’s tribunal is held in Bosnia and Herzegovina to address Israel’s genocidal campaign against Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip. The third session of the event, known as the Gaza Tribunal, is currently taking place in the capital, Sarajevo. The tribunal is chaired by Richard Falk, former UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the occupied Palestinian territories. This independent tribunal is examining Israeli war crimes and human rights violations in Gaza. Discussions cover a wide range of topics, including settler-colonialism, genocide frameworks, and apartheid. Multiple panelists have spoken during the sessions, widely calling for international pressure on the regime in Tel Aviv to immediately halt the ongoing violence in Gaza. They also emphasized the critical role of Western nations, particularly in Europe, in helping to end the atrocities. The three-day event is scheduled to conclude on Thursday.
Yemen anti-Israel operations
The leader of Yemen's Ansarullah movement says the continued genocide against the Palestinian people compels Yemen to escalate military operations against the Israeli regime. Seyyed Abdul Malik al-Houthi characterized the plight of the Palestinian people as unprecedentedly severe, particularly regarding the blockade, starvation, and the escalation of Israeli atrocities. He commented on the Israeli attacks on Yemen, stating that Israel has been weakened after the US stopped its aggression. He said these attacks aim to weaken Yemeni support for the Palestinian people.
