Iran enrichment right

The leader of the Islamic Revolution says a significant decline in US standing and the emergence of a multi-polar world are key aspects of Imam Khomeini's lasting legacy that keeps influencing the world. Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized that despite numerous conspiracies aimed at destabilizing the Islamic Republic, Iran has consistently strengthened its capabilities, particularly in defense and nuclear sectors, and gained independence. US-Israeli genocide in Gaza

The death toll from Israeli bombardments across Gaza keeps increasing as the regime intensifies its ground and aerial strikes on the besieged territory. The Gaza health ministry said at least 95 Palestinians have been killed and 440 injured in Israeli attacks across Gaza in the past 24 hours alone. In one of the latest attacks, at least 18 Palestinians, including children, were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a school sheltering displaced people in the southern city of Khan Yunis. The regime has also warned starving Palestinians from going near the US-backed aid distribution sites. Since October 2023, more than 54,600 Palestinians have been killed and over 125,000 others have been injured.

Hajj pilgrimage

More than a million Muslim pilgrims begin the sacred Hajj pilgrimage in the Saudi city of Mecca on Wednesday. Around 1.4 million worshippers have arrived in Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj, which is one of Islam’s five pillars. The pilgrimage begins with the tawaf, which is circling the Kaaba, Islam’s holiest site. Pilgrims will continue to Mina and later Mount Arafat, where the Prophet Muhammad is believed to have delivered his final sermon. Before entering Mecca, all must enter a state of purity, wearing simple white garments that symbolize unity and equality. This year, Saudi authorities are stepping up safety efforts after last year's deadly temperatures claimed over a thousand lives. They are boosting shade, medical services, and crowd control to prevent another tragedy.
