Leader's message to Hajj pilgrims

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution has issued a message on the occasion of the annual Hajj pilgrimage. Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei condemned the US-Israeli genocide in Gaza, calling on Muslim nations to unite and boycott the Israeli regime.

US-Israeli genocide in Gaza

The Israeli military keeps slaughtering Palestinian civilians in Gaza, as it continues to hit the blockaded territory with air and artillery strikes. The latest attack targeted tents in al-Mawasi refugee camp, leaving six people dead. Three people were killed in an attack on Gaza City's al-Zaytoun neighborhood. Israeli artillery fire also targeted eastern Gaza. 23 people have been killed in Thursday’s attacks. This includes four journalists. The US-Israeli genocide, which began in October 2023, has so far claimed the lives of over 54-thousand-600 Palestinians. Most of the victims are women and children.

Gaza freedom flotilla

International activists onboard a humanitarian aid flotilla heading for Gaza have condemned Israel’s threat to attack their vessel. In a statement, the Freedom Flotilla Coalition said the vessel, called Madleen only carries aid and human rights defenders. It said they want to challenge Israel’s illegal, decades-old blockade and the ongoing genocide in Gaza. On Wednesday, the Israeli regime said it is ready to confront the flotilla, citing past actions against similar missions. The Madleen was recently approached by surveillance drones off the coast of Crete. Activists say the threats are aimed at blocking essential aid amid Gaza’s worsening humanitarian crisis. In past incidents, Israel opened fire on similar vessels, including a March attack near Malta and a deadly 2010 raid on a Turkish aid flotilla.
