Israel Gaza escalation
Another deadly day for Palestinians in Gaza as the Israeli regime intensifies its attacks against the besieged territory. The latest attacks targeted Rafah, Gaza City and Nuseirat refugee camp. Israeli tanks targeted the vicinity of the Indonesian hospital in the north. The al-Awda hospital’s drug depot in Jabalia was also bombed. Thursday’s strikes have so far left over 40 Palestinians dead. The death toll since October 2023 now stands at nearly 53-thousand-700. Meanwhile, the first aid convoy in nearly three months have arrived in Gaza. The UN says it has dispatched nearly 90 trucks to the Palestinian territory after the regime lifted an 11-week blockade and began allowing limited deliveries in. The blockade has left Gazans in an increasingly desperate struggle for survival.
Yemen anti-Israel operations
The Yemeni army says it has carried out fresh retaliatory operations striking Israeli targets deep inside the occupied Palestinian territories. Saree called on Islamic countries to take action against Israeli genocide in the Gaza strip. He also praised Palestinians for their steadfastness and said they are defending the entire Ummah. The spokesman reiterated that Yemen will not hesitate to expand and escalate its operations according to its capabilities and potentials. Saree said the anti-Israeli attacks will continue until the regime’s aggression stops and the siege on the Gaza Strip is lifted.
US shooting
Another shooting incident in the US. This time two Israeli embassy staff were killed in a shooting outside a Jewish museum in Washington DC. The gunfire erupted as the museum was hosting an event. A spokesperson for the Israeli embassy in Washington said the victims, who were identified as a man and woman, were shot at close range. According to the Washington police chief, a single suspect who was seen pacing outside the museum before the event is currently in custody and the case is under investigation. Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations has slammed the shooting, calling it a depraved act of anti-Semitism. US President Donald Trump has also condemned the attack.
