US-Israeli Gaza genocide

Israel’s unrelenting strikes claim the lives of scores more Palestinian civilians in Gaza, as the regime presses ahead with its genocide across the besieged territory. In one of the deadliest attacks, at least 35 civilians were killed and scores injured after tents for displaced people were hit in the southern city of Khan Yunis. Earlier, seven civilians were killed in the same city as a result of the regime’s airstrikes on groups of civilians. four more civilians were killed in the Tel al-Za’atar neighborhood of the Jabaliya refugee camp, in northern Gaza. In central Gaza, Israeli forces bombed a humanitarian aid warehouse in Deir al-Balah, killing 10 people, including a 10-day-old infant. According to medical sources, over the past 48 hours, more than 200 Palestinians have been killed, and around 300,000 forcibly displaced from northern Gaza. Gaza’s Health Ministry says nearly one-hundred Palestinians were killed in Saturday strikes alone. The death toll from the regime’s genocide is now near 53,300, with more than 120,600 others injured.

Resistance in Gaza

Hamas has rejected the Palestinian Authority president’s call for surrendering its weapons. The movement emphasized that armed resistance will continue as long as the occupation remains on Palestinian land. Senior Hamas official, Mahmoud Mardawi, urged Mahmoud Abbas to align with the will of the Palestinian people, and join the resistance against the occupation. He also rejected a partial ceasefire deal with Israel, saying the regime would exploit the deal to continue its aggression against the people of Gaza. His remarks followed Abbas’ remarks at the Arab League Summit in Baghdad, where he called on Hamas to relinquish control of Gaza and surrender its weapons. Abbas claimed that the Palestinian Authority is the sole legitimate representative of the Palestinian people.

Yemen anti-Israel operations

Sirens have sounded in several areas in the center of the occupied Palestinian territories. The Israeli army has announced a fresh missile strike from Yemen, forcing many settlers to rush to shelters. The attack appeared to have targeted Ben Gurion Airport. Israeli media said the airspace was closed at the airport following the missile attack. A settler was injured on his way to shelters in Bat Yam, south of Tel Aviv. The regime claimed it had intercepted the missile, but Israeli media reported successive explosions in the central part of the occupied territories. Yemen has not commented on the attack so far.
